Hello everyone! I’m Rosie and welcome to my little area of the web. 🙂

I’m a 4’11” petite fashion enthusiast who has always loved beautiful garments. I started teaching myself how to sew in June 2020 because of the mask shortage during the covid pandemic.

My desire to sew more, learn more, create more and blog more was fueled after winning First Place in the Little Basic Dress Contest and Second Place in the Wardrobe Contest on Pattern Review.com in November 2020.

In November of 2024 I discovered my passion for teaching after hosting an “Intro to Knit” class for my neighbors. A month later I launched Knit & Stitch, offering Fiber Arts classes for adults and children 11 and up.

I live in Virginia with my husband, whom I affectionately call “The Viking”. He is my biggest supporter and IT guy. Without his encouragement, none of this would be possible.
